What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll keep our Auckland site running safely and efficiently:

  • Routine electrical maintenance and emergency repairs on plant machinery, production lines, and facility systems
  • Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation faults effectively
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics and documentation
  • Conduct preventative maintenance in line with schedules and safety requirements
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in planned shutdowns, installations, and upgrades
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety legislation, and food safety standards

What you'll bring

Must-haves:

  • Current EWRB registration — or equivalent overseas qualification with the ability to obtain EWRB registration in NZ
  • Solid background in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and food safety standards

Great to have:

  • Experience with automated control systems — PLC, SCADA, VSD & Servo Drives
  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems
  • Mechanical aptitude or dual-trade background
