What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be the electrical expert keeping our site running at its best:

• Proactive maintenance and rapid-response repairs on plant machinery, production lines, and facility systems
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation faults -  PLC, SCADA, VSD & Servo Drives
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects with production and engineering teams
• Participate in planned shutdowns, major installations, and system upgrades
• Ensure all work meets electrical codes, safety legislation, and food safety standards

What you'll bring

Must-haves:

• Current EWRB registration — or equivalent overseas qualification with the ability to obtain EWRB registration in NZ
• 3+ years in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Solid hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, VSD & Servo Drive systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Flexibility for occasional on-call work
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and food safety standards

Great to have:

• Mechanical skills or dual-trade background
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems
