As an electrician, you will play an integral part in our Maintenance team at our Primary Processing Plant in Osborne Park. You'll be the hero who keeps our operations running smoothly, ensuring our production never skips a beat.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide critical operational support and execute planned preventative maintenance across our cutting-edge facility. We offer flexible rotating rosters, including weekend shifts, perfect for maximizing your earning potential!

Daily Tasks

  • Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner. 
  • Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities. 
  • Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders. 
  • Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities. 
  • Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks. 
  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, switchgear, motors, lighting, and control panels. Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, collaborating with the maintenance team and electrical superintendent to resolve complex issues.
  • Perform repairs and overhauls on motors, circuit breakers, relays, switches, and other electrical components.

You will bring to this role

  • Electrical license and an Australian trade qualification. 
  • Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on production equipment. 
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. 
  • An active problem solver and quick thinker to ensure that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently. 
  • Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing, and problem solving with the ability to multitask. 
  • Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance. 
  • Experience with Maximo or a similar maintenance program as a CMMS would be an advantage.
