Position Details:

Duration: December 2025 - End of January 2026

• Shifts Available: Monday to Friday
  • Day shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Afternoon shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Your daily responsibilities:

• Processing, inspecting, and packing raw chicken meat
• Manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching
• Working in a cold, wet environment (2-14°C) for the duration of your shift
• Identifying and reporting Animal Welfare, food safety & quality issues

What we are looking for:

• Available to commit to working full time throughout the entire summer period, including the Christmas and New Year period (excluding public holidays)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• A team player with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Reliable, committed and motivated
• Physically fit and able to repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
• Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing is an advantage
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
