Job Description
Your opportunity to join our team
The Broiler Service role is responsible for ensuring compliance, performance monitoring, training, and communication across all aspects of broiler operations within the integrated poultry business.
Responsibilities include
Ensure adherence to Animal Welfare Code requirements
Maintain compliance with Animal Products Legislation
Disseminate, communicate, and provide training on Inghams Policies
Implement and train staff on company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage broiler grower contracts and payment systems
SPCA Certified Program Management: Oversee 36 farms in the certification program, manage weekly non-conformance reporting from QCONZ, and coordinate 4 annual audits per farm
Inghams Facilities Standard: Conduct annual compliance auditing on farms (implementation pending for New Zealand operations)
New Grower Onboarding: Introduce new growers to Inghams integrated business model, provide grower manual and information packages
Technical Workshops: Conduct specialized training sessions
Impact-focused workshops addressing specific operational challenges (feed quality, brooding, grow out procedures)
You will bring to this role
Strong understanding of poultry production systems and animal welfare standards
Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance principles
Excellent communication and training delivery skills
Analytical skills for performance monitoring and trend analysis
Project management capabilities for compliance program oversight
Stakeholder management and relationship building expertise
