Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team

This role is responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives across the company’s branded portfolio. With a strong focus on project management and product development, the position plays a key role in supporting our commitment to delivering brands that meet the evolving needs of both customers and consumers.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Technical Services, Sales, Category, Procurement, Operations, and Finance. To succeed, you’ll need to be a capable marketer and project coordinator—ideally with experience in a traditional FMCG food environment—managing brands and delivering multiple, complex projects on time, within budget, and aligned with compliance standards.

Responsibilities include

  • Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies
  • Manage the Ingham’s brand to ensure consistency and impact across all channels
  • Assist in the development and delivery of the annual brand plan for Ingham’s New Zealand
  • Champion a consistent brand presence across all consumer and customer touchpoints
  • Track brand health metrics and support ongoing performance reviews and reporting
  • Collaborate with external agencies, including:
  • Briefing creative for packaging and brand communications
  • Coordinating with pre-press agencies, including management of stock on hand (SOH) and print run-outs
  • Develop sales support materials for new product development and existing product lines
  • Maintain and manage brand assets, including the image library and digital content resources

You will bring to this role

Marketing Degree – preferred

  • 3-4 years working in FMCG environment
  • Previous experience as a Marketing Coordinator or Project Coordinator within the FMCG or retail industry is highly regarded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as familiarity with social media platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and handle high-volume workflows
  • Ability to interpret profit and loss statements and understand key value drivers
  • Sound knowledge of budget management and forecasting processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
