The Store Person role is the primary interface between the receipt of goods in to the Inghams’ environment and despatch of those items to the plant (production and maintenance teams) for use. Including managing all end to end requirements of stock management, rotation, inventory reporting and other support required by wider site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock take completions for packaging, ingredients and pallets in alignment with the SOH report. Amend and correct where discrepancies are found to ensure ongoing accuracy.
- Review ingredient and packaging requirements for production and ensure availability of each ahead of production commencing.
- Complete cleaning requirements and checks including;
- Oil tank levels, removal and replacement of wooden pallets, nitrogen level checks, ingredient sample checks rubbish and cardboard disposal, washdown of required areas.
- Complete reporting and print outs of relevant documentation (including shop orders) for the wider production team.
- Liaise with planning team regarding potential shortfalls based on current stock levels.
- Complete checks of receival documentation and receipting into system.
- Raise POs and escalate unpaid invoices for follow up.
- Maintain products and general store area to a high standard and in alignment with business requirements including Health and Safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years working in a operational store environment in a complex environment.
