PLEASE NOTE - This is a 16 month fixed term position

As a Production Supervisor your role is to oversee our production operations on your specific line. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows and ensure processing lines are optimised. In a fast paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize dayto-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a safe, environmentally acceptable and profitable manner

Responsibilities include

• Manage the team using coaching, developing, delegation and recognition to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goals
• Manage and monitor operational areas performance levels, ensuring they are meeting Food Safety, Animal Welfare and Product Quality KPI’s
• Implement and monitor strategies to reduce staff turnover and ensure labour cost base is productive, efficient and cost competitive
• Identify and resolve Animal Welfare, Food Safety and Quality issues, hazards and risks
• Responsible for ensuring all livestock is treated humanely by self and team

You will bring to this role

• Experience leading a team for more than 2 years  in a Food Manufacturing environment is a must
• Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely to a broad range of people
• Self-motivated and results driven
• Proactive approach with strong problem solving skills and the ability to anticipate issues and devise solutions
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
