Your opportunity to join our team
The primary purpose of the Account Executive Foodstuffs is to provide comprehensive account support for the Foodstuffs retail channel, focusing on price and promotional management, forecasting support, market intelligence, and new product development initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between the sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
The Account Executive will play a critical role in translating market signals into actionable business strategies, supporting the National Account Manager in delivering against key performance indicators, and ensuring seamless execution of promotional activities and product launches within the Foodstuffs network. The role may also incorporate support within the QSR function and other administrative support, as is necessary.
Responsibilities include
- Lead end-to-end promotional planning and execution for Foodstuffs accounts
- Coordinate promotional calendars and ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Monitor promotional performance and provide detailed analysis and recommendations
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Foodstuffs accounts
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure adequate stock availability
- Act as primary point of contact for urgent customer requests and market changes
- Develop rapid response strategies for competitive threats or market disruptions
You will bring to this role
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in account management, sales support, or customer service roles
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or food industry preferred
- Previous experience with promotional planning and execution
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
