The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining compliance with food safety and health & safety standards

Responsibilities include

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and emergency repairs on plant machinery, production lines, and facility systems.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems as required.
• Diagnose faults and effectively troubleshoot electrical and automation issues.
• Maintain and update electrical schematics and documentation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to schedules and safety requirements.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, electrical codes, and internal safety and hygiene policies.
• Participate in plant shutdowns, installations, and upgrades.

You will bring to this role

• Current EWRB registration with a minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with automated control systems (PLC, SCADA, VSD & Servo Drives)
• Familiarity with maintenance management Systems (CMMS)
• Mechanical aptitude or dual-trade experience is an advantage
