The Dual Trade Technician purpose is to maintain both mechanical and electrical components of the Bostock Plant and associated facilities.

Responsibilities include

ELECTRICAL

• Schedule annual electrical checks, and inspections as required by NZ regulations and standards.
• Capital improvement ideas and involvement
• Responding immediately to electrical breakdowns within the Plant and action repair plans.
• Fixing and finding faults
• Repair and fault find within the equipment to prevent breakdowns, improve efficiency, and increase production.
• Recalibrating instruments

MECHANICAL

• Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns within the Plant and action repair plans.
• Fixing and finding faults within the equipment
• Following scheduled preventative maintenance procedure to eliminate breakdowns, and downtime and increase production
• Recalibrating instruments, oiling/greasing, cleaning and maintain site equipment.

You will bring to this role

• New Zealand Registered, Electrician with National certificate in electrical level 4
• Mechanical engineering level 4, OR, proof of previous Mechanical Experience
• Experience In industrial applications for electrical and mechanical engineering in a plant environment.
