About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dispatch Team Member to join our busy team at Inghams. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role sitting at the heart of our operations - coordinating outbound freight and ensuring our products reach their destination accurately and on time.
Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, you'll be part of a team that keeps things moving. Flexibility is occasionally required to cover leave, with some Saturday hours available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Loading and unloading trucks with accuracy and care
- Operating a forklift safely within our dispatch area
- Coordinating outbound freight and maintaining dispatch records
- Communicating with internal teams and external transport providers
- Using computer systems including emails and spreadsheets to track and manage orders
- Working confidently in a chilled/cold environment
What You'll Bring
- Current forklift licence with proven hands-on experience
- Strong computer skills - comfortable with emails, spreadsheets and internal systems
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to liaise confidently with internal stakeholders and external transport partners
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to step up when needed
