Inghams Primary Processing Site at Burton, SA is now seeking a Production Supervisor to cover the PM shift.

This is a hands-on leadership position, where you’ll guide and support your team to achieve production targets, meet safety and quality standards, and continuously improve processes. Your ability to inspire and lead by example will be instrumental to the success of your team and the broader business.

Daily Tasks:

  • Supervise and lead a team in the processing area to meet production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, animal welfare, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Provide hands-on support to the team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Oversee training and development to build team capability.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency targets.
  • Report on production outcomes and escalate issues as required.

You Will Bring to This Role:

  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills, ability to lead, motivate, manage performance and handle team challenges in a fast paced environment. 
  • Experience in food production or meat processing is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and animal welfare practices.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Computer literacy and experience with production systems are advantageous.
