The Senior Manager - Information & Cyber Security is responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight for cyber security across Inghams.  This role ensures the organisation is resilient to internal and external security threats and guides Inghams to achieve its desired cyber maturity levels.

As Senior Manager, you will lead the delivery of the Cyber Security Uplift Program and its strategic objectives, building and enabling a secure, innovative, and operationally excellent technology environment.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Governance:

  • Define and drive the cyber security strategy for Inghams, guiding the organisation to achieve its desired maturity levels across all aspects of cyber security
  • Lead delivery of Inghams' Cyber Security Uplift Program, ensuring its strategic roadmap aligns with Inghams' enterprise-level strategic plan
  • Lead cyber security governance committees and continuously uplift the maturity of Inghams' governance framework, risk assessments, and risk registers
  • Develop and implement organisational cyber security policies, procedures, and processes to prevent and respond effectively to security breaches
  • Ensure Inghams satisfies all legal, regulatory, and business requirements across all aspects of cyber security

Architecture & Security Operations:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture practice, aligning with Inghams' cloud transformation objectives
  • Define cyber security controls, systems, remote access, and infrastructure requirements across IT and OT networks to protect Inghams' environment
  • Establish and agree minimum cyber security requirements with key customers, suppliers, and other third parties
  • Manage the Security Operations Centre, taking responsibility for real-time threat monitoring and detection capability.
  • Build Inghams' cyber security resilience and incident response capability, including contributions to business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Lead Inghams' crisis management response for any major cyber security incident.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications:

  • Develop and lead a company-wide cyber security communications strategy, fostering a security-aware culture across Inghams
  • Communicate with all levels of management, including C-suite and Board members, providing regular reporting on Inghams' security risk profile, planned uplift activities, and cyber incident updates
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes to educate employees on information security and cyber security requirements

People & Financial Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of cyber security professionals, providing coaching and development to maximise individual and team potential
  • Manage the cyber security budget and investment portfolio, contributing to capital planning and budget processes by forecasting future needs and identifying security improvement opportunities

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in professional roles involving information security and/or IT management, covering all elements of the security lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • CISSP or CISM certification (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience defining cyber security strategy and successfully implementing security uplift programmes
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and maximise the potential of team members
  • History of working collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional environment to deliver practical and cost-effective security solutions
  • Experience in a multi-site, multi-platform IT/OT environment with working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and IoT environments
  • Strong working knowledge of best practice IT, OT, cyber security, network architecture, and cyber security resilience policy and procedure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, measure performance, and meet deadlines while holding self and others accountable
  • Proven attention to detail with advanced skills in data analysis, information processing, and problem-solving
