Job Description

Your opportunity to join us at Lytton on Night Shift.

As a Team Leader in the Weigh Label Room, you will engage and lead your team to drive performance in the achievement of established goals.

Working closely with the Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor in this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced warehouse operators to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards in the Weigh Label Room.

This is a permanent night shift position operating Monday to Saturday (Saturday morning only) 10:30pm to 6:51am. We offer a comparable total hourly rate of $43.01ph (which includes all loadings).

Daily Tasks

  • Lead and develop the distribution/warehousing team to meet performance goals
  • Report on operations and assist with general work planning
  • Establish and uphold safety standards, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Execute site plans, track performance, and allocate resources effectively
  • Work closely with your Supervisor to manage food safety, quality, and compliance risks
  • Assist with GMP, Housekeeping, and audit standards

You will bring to this role

  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehousing environment in a Team Leader position
  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work in a cold environment
  • Proven communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide a team
  • A continuous improvement mindset, driving both people and process efficiencies
  • A passion for training and developing team capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse planning/operations
  • Knowledge of GMP compliance and stock/inventory management
