Your opportunity to join our team.

As a Customer Service Representative based at Inghams DC in Lytton, you will be part of our friendly Customer Service Team who thrives on collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and diversity is supported. Working Monday to Friday, you will support our customers to ensure they have a great customer experience, answering queries and supporting them in choosing the right products for their business.

This 12 month contract position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days available working from home.

Daily Tasks

  • Providing customer service to our existing customers; helping with inquiries and supporting them with choosing the right products for their business
  • Completing daily call cycle and keying orders 
  • Providing information and upselling  on Ingham’s products to customer orders
  • Providing administrative support to the wider customer service team and business development managers, in relation to our customers.
  • Stakeholder engagement with customers, operations, and logistics
  • Responsible for accurately processing payment credits, ensuring timely updates to accounts, and reconciling discrepancies.

You will bring to this role

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to think outside the box
  • Relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG would be advantageous
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and work independently.
