As an integral part of our Maintenance team at our Primary Processing Plant in Bolivar, you will be providing operational support and performing planned preventative maintenance on a 12-hour, four-day-on, four-days-off alternating roster.

Daily Tasks:​​​​​

• Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner
• Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities
• Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders
• Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks
• Maintain accurate maintenance records by booking out stock and logging daily activities into Maximo
• Work closely with production team to identify and resolve issues effectively
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on processing equipment, conveyors and pumps

You will bring to this role:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Trades qualification.
• Experience in servicing, repair, and maintaining various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more, in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably primary food processing or food and beverage industry
• Experience in Fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical system
• Experience in gear driven systems, Conveyor belts
• Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices
• Basic fabrication
• Experience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenance
• Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships,  communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders 
• Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitask
• Experience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantage
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
