Your opportunity to join our team
We are seeking a Trade Waste and Environment Officer to join our Turkey – Primary Processing Site in Tahmoor.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for upkeeping our Waste-Water Treatment Plant through daily environmental checks and water sampling.
As part of the Maintenance team there will be the opportunity to be involved with, and learn trades, under the expert guidance of our trained and qualified fitters and electricians.

- Consistent hours provided weekly – Monday to Friday 6am-14:30pm (start/finish times subject to change – dependent on candidate)
Daily Tasks
- Ensuring the site adheres to all Environmental obligations as laid out in the sites Environmental Management Plan
- Maintenance and upkeep of the site Waste Water Treatment processes in tandem with our contractor, JPG, and the Maintenance team.
- Daily Environmental Checks and odour surveys
- Conduct routine water sampling.
- Management of the land within the immediate site perimeter and also the wider perimeter.
- This includes, but is not limited to, the upkeep of the lawns and paddocks, maintenance of borders, shrubs and native plants.
- Maintaining the site presentation
- Upkeep of the sites pond system
You will bring to this role
- Environmental Qualification or Training (advantageous but not required)
- Environmentally aware and good level of understanding of what is required
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Curious to challenge the status quo and address issues when identified
- Continuous Improvement mindset
