Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team at Ingleburn on the Morning shift!

As Production Manager at our Ingleburn further processing site, you will work on the morning shift from 7am, overseeing two Supervisors and large team across the shift.  

As a leader within the business, you will drive best practice and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiencies and improve operational performance.  With a focus on safety, and a passion for quality, you will partner with stakeholders to deliver consistent results and world-class products.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and lead a large team to meet production goals
  • Ensure compliance is met across people safety and food safety standards
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary
  • Provide hands-on support to the team, fostering collaboration and productivity
  • Oversee training and development to build team capability
  • Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency targets
  • Report on production outcomes and escalate issues as required

Key requirements: 

  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in food production or meat processing is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally to build strong relationships
  • Passionate for driving continuous improvement initiatives, to improve safety, efficiencies and reliability
  • Computer literacy and experience with production systems are advantageous
