As our Maintenance Officer (Handyperson), you'll be the go-to professional for keeping our properties in excellent condition. You'll apply your diverse skill set across various maintenance disciplines, ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Daily Tasks:
Primary Focus – Building and Services Maintenance (60-70% of role):
- Conducting minor plumbing repairs
- Clearing blocked pipes and drains
- Performing minor roof repairs and maintenance
- Installing and repairing doors, fittings, and fixtures
- Patching and painting walls and ceilings, including detailed touch-ups
- Various property repairs as required across the site
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Additional Multi-Trade Duties:
- Assisting tradespeople in other maintenance activities where required
- Assisting with site and GMP inspections
- Assisting with the operation of the DAFF plant
- Coordinating with other trades and departments for integrated maintenance
- Liaising with contractors and external vendors
- Housekeeping of the Ancillary Services areas
Desired skill and experience:
- Trade qualification in Plumbing (highly desirable) OR extensive hands-on maintenance experience with plumbing skills
- Proven ability to work across multiple trades with confidence
- Strong communication skills - comfortable liaising with both on-site teams and management
- Excellent customer service approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Computer literate (email, Word, Excel for reporting and job tracking
- Experience in commercial or residential property maintenance
