We are seeking proactive and skilled Maintenance Fitters to join our Primary Processing Site in Murarrie. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
We offer flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle - we currently have day shift roles with full-time, fixed rosters available.
Available Positions:
- Day Shift Frontline Fitter
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 5:00 AM – 1:06 PM (0500-1306)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- Day Shift Reliability Fitter
- Sunday to Wednesday
- 38 hours per week
- 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (0500-1500)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- Team Leader Day Shift
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 5:00 AM – 1:06 PM (0500-1306)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- Additional Team Leader allowance

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure reliability and safety
- Assist with plant upgrades, installations, and modifications
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used
- Follow workplace health and safety standards at all times
What You Bring to the Role:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter or Mechanical Engineer (essential)
- Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing or food processing environment (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (desirable)
