Job Description

Based at Inghams processing division in Lisarow, we are hard-working team players and problem solvers who are passionate about improving efficiencies and delivering the highest quality product to our customers.

This hands-on Process Worker role offers day and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as well. We offer regular shifts across Monday-Friday with up to full-time hours and an opportunity to convert to a permanent role.

Daily Tasks

  • Process and inspect raw materials safely and according to quality specification
  • Perform processing tasks efficiently and work to meet individual and group targets
  • Complete manual handling duties – lift, pull, push, bend and reach
  • Follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
  • Clean and maintain a clean work space
  • Work with raw meat products in a cold environment
  • Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools

You will bring to this role

  • Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
  • To be able to successfully communicate both written and verbally
  • Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
  • Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
