We’re looking for Machine Operators to join our Prestons Distribution Centre, with opportunities available across both day and afternoon shifts.

In this hands-on role, you’ll operate machinery safely and efficiently, perform manual handling tasks, and help us deliver top-quality products every day.

Daily Tasks:
-
Operate and monitor machinery to meet production targets while ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance
-
Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and bending (up to 20 kg)

Picker and packer duties as required
-
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and report issues promptly

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storing materials, equipment, and tools

Identify and escalate food safety or quality concerns, hazards, and risks
-
Support the team in achieving productivity targets
You Will Bring to This Role:

Forklift licence required, with demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely and confidently (20–30% of the role involves forklift operation)

Previous experience as a picker/packer in a fast-paced environment (preferred but not required)

Physically fit and able to repetitively lift, push, and pull items between 5 kg to 20 kg

Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment

Flexibility and a willingness to work across various shifts as needed
