Job Description

Your Opportunity to Join Our Team

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Farming Administrator to join our team in Somerville, VIC on a 6-month full-time contract. This role is essential in providing day-to-day administrative support to our farming operations, helping to ensure smooth processes, accurate records, and ongoing compliance across the site.

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Contract: 6-Month Full-Time Contract

Daily Tasks

  • Provide administrative support to the farming team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage data entry, record-keeping, and documentation for farming activities
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and other financial administration tasks
  • Maintain compliance records and assist with audit preparation
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare reports and track farming performance metrics
  • Support site safety initiatives by maintaining documentation and assisting with compliance requirements

You Will Bring to This Role

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an agricultural, FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • A commitment to workplace health, safety, and compliance
