Job Description
At Inghams, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Farm Hand in NSW - Quirindi within the BREEDER PRODUCTION department. This is a casual position within the Farm & Hatcheries category, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our agricultural operations. As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of farm activities and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with general farm maintenance tasks such as cleaning and repairing equipment and structures
Participating in livestock care activities including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health
Aiding in crop production by planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops as per established protocols
Operating farm machinery and vehicles safely and efficiently
Contributing to biosecurity measures to maintain a healthy farming environment
Supporting breeding programs and related tasks as required
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in farm operations or similar agricultural roles would be advantageous.
