We’re offering an exciting opportunity for hands-on, motivated individuals to join Ingham’s as Apprentice Mechanical Fitters at our Further Processing Plant in Ingleburn. This full-time apprenticeship combines practical experience with structured training, setting you up for a rewarding trade career in maintenance and mechanical fitting.

If you're mechanically minded, curious about how machines work, and want to learn from experienced tradespeople in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to grow with us.

Daily Tasks

  • Assist with the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of production equipment
  • Learn how to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
  • Support planned and preventative maintenance activities
  • Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with guidance from qualified tradespeople
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions
  • Attend off-site training with your registered training organisation as required

You will bring to this role

  • A genuine interest in pursuing a Mechanical Fitting trade
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to teamwork, safety, and reliability
  • Completion of Year 10 (minimum) with solid results in Maths and English
  • A driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred but not essential)
