Join Our Team – Weigh Label Room Operator

Are you ready for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? This is your opportunity to become part of a supportive team in our Weigh Label Room, where you’ll be involved in processing, inspecting, packing, weighing, and labelling raw chicken meat.

We’re seeking reliable individuals who are physically fit, mechanically minded, and comfortable working across various shifts, including weekends when required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and setting up Espera Weigh Label Machines

  • Unloading product trays and placing them into cartons

  • Loading and unloading cartons/crates from pallets

  • Some stacking of cartons and manual handling tasks – lifting (5–15kg), bending, pulling, pushing

  • Adhering to HACCP food safety standards, completing associated paperwork accurately

  • Identifying and escalating any food safety or quality concerns

  • Working as part of a collaborative team to meet productivity and safety targets

What You Bring:

  • Good numerical and written English skills (essential for HACCP documentation)

  • Mechanical aptitude – ability to set up and operate labelling machines

  • Physically fit - comfortable with repetitive lifting and working on your feet

  • Forklift Licence – advantageous, but not essential

  • Ability to work safely and calmly in a fast-paced environment

  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude

  • Availability across a variety of shift, including weekends when needed
