We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand on Day shift to support our Cooking Team at Edinburgh Parks. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading both teams in dispatch and palletising, to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Strong understanding for Safety and ensure Inghams Safe work procedures were followed at all times
- Lead, motivate, and develop the cooking team to ensure high morale, effective collaboration, and a positive working environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
- Drive and track the performance of the cooking team against KPIs, ensuring goals related to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
- Ensure that all cooking processes meet Inghams operational standards and contribute to the achievement of business targets.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to Inghams food safety standards.
- Establish and uphold safety standards, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Execute site plans, track performance, and allocate resources effectively
- Work closely with your Supervisor to manage food safety, quality, and compliance risks
- Assist with GMP, Housekeeping, and audit standards
You will bring to this role
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment in a Team Leader position
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (highly regarded)
• Ability to work in a warm and cold environment
• Proven communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide a team
• A continuous improvement mindset, driving both people and process efficiencies
• A passion for training and developing team capability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of GMP compliance
