Job Description
Inghams Primary Processing Facility in Murarrie is seeking an energetic Production Planning Manager to join the planning team.
Reporting to the General Manager of Integrated Tactical Planning, the focus of the role is to give our customer the exceptional service they deserve and expect. The successful candidate will be guided and trained through the essential areas within production planning to ensure ongoing success.
Responsibilities include
The ability to think, adapt and provide solutions in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
A sense of urgency to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Ensure that all operational and administration tasks are completed accurately and on time and KPIs achieved.
Provide consistent timely and effective communication to both internal and external customers.
Possess a strong and committed attitude towards safety and compliance.
Have a high attention to detail and consistent delivery of reporting.
Possess strong computer and system literacy skills.
You will bring to this role
Experience and knowledge of managing a planning function in a complex working environment. Ideally within the FMCG, manufacturing or distribution industry. Short shelf life industry preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with the strong capabilities of working with multiple pieces of data and transforming them into meaningful relevant information for the wider business to understand.
Strategic Thinking: You have a knack for developing and executing strategies that align with broader organisational goals.
Advanced Microsoft Skills, High fluency in Excel is essential.
Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, with the ability to understand the business effect especially in areas such as safety and quality.
Inclusive in management style, with the capabilities to engage a team, create a collaborative working environment.
Ability to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
Qualifications/Licences
Tertiary qualification in Business or similar discipline, APICS (ASCI) or other supply chain qualifications seen as highly regarded.
