Your opportunity to join our Sales team in North Ryde!

As National Account Manager for one of our major retailers you will be based at our North Ryde head office and report to the National Business Manager – Woolworth Fresh.  Together you will drive the account growth and strategically and commercially deliver great outcomes for our customer and Inghams.

This role you offer you the opportunity to work in a complex environment, offering many challenges and opportunities to grow your career.

You will be required to travel to Woolworths’ head office & also intermittently across the wider Inghams supply chain network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute the strategic goals and objectives as part of an annual joint customer business planning process
  • Build promotional programs in partnership with Woolworths that ensure the right commercial outcomes
  • Deliver on budgeted volume, revenue and GM targets
  • Develop and nurture key relationships with cross functional teams including operations, farming, category, marketing and NPD to drive and deliver on the JBP
  • Analyse consumer data to make informed decisions on ranging/ product gaps, commercials and NPD
  • Own and deliver the demand plan through working collaboratively with customer & internal stakeholders to drive alignment ensuring accurate forecasting
  • Manage the day-to-day business including shelf-life management, promotional funding, administrative support and set up of products
  • Partner with the product development team and project manager to execute NPD launches on time

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience as a NAE / BDM / NAM and someone who is looking for the next step in their career
  • Experience in an operational role and/or strong manufacturing knowledge within short shelf-life products (poultry knowledge desirable but not critical)
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to think outside the box
  • Experience with building promotional plans
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively across an organisation
