As CI Lead for our Primary Processing Plant, you will identify and lead plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives and programs to optimise efficiencies and drive performance across the site. Working closely with site leaders, you will establish and standardise processes and systems to facilitate and embed a high-performance culture.
We are looking for someone who can balance analytical and CI tool-based methodologies with a proactive and people-focused, hands-on approach. You will be confident to challenge processes, implement change and effective in engaging the entire team by applying smarter ways of working.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver the site’s CI program to meet targets across yield, labour and other factors, identifying areas of highest potential to generate returns and drive the business towards world’s best practice
- Partner with and influence key stakeholders to establish, implement and embed standardised processes across the primary processing site
- Lead continuous improvement programs to support the achievement of the site’s strategy, ensuring CI initiatives are successfully rolled out, fully integrated and embraced to maximize efficiencies and performance
- Monitor and report on return on investment
- Collect and analyse data and present insights to decision makers, communicating findings in a clear and concise way
- Utilise CI methodologies to embed the CI program and identify and drive change across the site
Key requirements:
- Experience in delivering CI programs and introducing measurable and effective methodologies in a complex manufacturing environment
- Adept at working with data and performing statistical analysis to provide meaningful and insightful data to aid decision making
- Sound knowledge of CI frameworks and methodologies (Six Sigma certification preferred)
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively across an organisation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, implement change, and adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing food manufacturing environment
- Ability to the CI concepts and principles across a wide audience, from senior management to front-line employees
- Ability to monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback
