Your Opportunity to Join Our Team

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician to join our Primary Processing Plant in Murarrie on the afternoon shift. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our production lines run smoothly by maintaining equipment and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimise downtime.

Position Details:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 38-hour week
  • Full-time, fixed roster
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:06 PM (13:00 – 21:06)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Install, repair, and upgrade electrical systems and components
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Queensland Electrical Licence (essential)
  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
  • Familiarity with PLC systems (desirable)
  • A proactive and positive attitude
