Your opportunity to join our Procurement team at North Ryde!
We are looking for a switched-on self-starter to join our Procurement team to steward and improve our procurement tools and processes to deliver sustained benefits across the organisation. You will assist Inghams with the management of Coupa as well as support the systems that enable the development and execution of category strategies, contract management, supply & demand analytics, supplier relationships and supply chain risks, while providing inputs to process improvement and controls.
We are not looking for previous procurement experience – this role will suit someone with a bias to action, who is curious and enjoys learning, and helping people to succeed in their interactions with Coupa and procurement processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the procurement team in the governance, analytics and execution of annual operating plan
- Support the stewardship of procurement tools and processes across the business – annual operating plan pipeline, score cards, Coupa, DocuSign, Interos
- Report and monitor workflows within the tools to ensure our stakeholders have what they need to onboard or pay suppliers and quantify and manage risk
- Maintain and develop catalogues prices between Coupa and suppliers
- Provide support for selected categories including the execution of RFI, RFP and RFQ processes
- Align stakeholder needs and supply capability through analytics, procurement processes and research with existing and new supplier relationships across multiple categories and functions
- Monitoring market trends, supplier spend and opportunities to develop and implement category strategies for continuous improvement to the business
- Manage administration of pipeline for cost improvement activities that continue to deliver year on year benefits
- Apply sound project administration skills to manage timelines, priorities, milestones, issues and risks
- Day to day management of suppliers in conjunction with the onsite teams
- Ensure that the categories procurement governance requirements are met and help with resolving any outstanding issues
- Participate in NPD process in conjunction with the wider business
Key requirements:
- Be a bright, driven and engaging problem solver, with at least 1-2 years’ experience, looking to build your career and contribute to a fun, high performing and supportive team
- Strong administration and project management skills, with the ability to keep projects on time and within budget
- Demonstrated ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Be a self-starter with an innate curious and entrepreneurial nature
- Excellent analytical capability with the ability to administer efficient Procurement technologies
- Able to thrive in a change management environment, with the ability to bring people on the change journey
- Previous experience in procurement is not essential but qualified with a commerce, engineering, or finance degree is preferred
