We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to support our lab operations. In this role, you'll be directly involved in day-to-day lab tasks such as weighing, sampling, cleaning, and handling equipment, helping to ensure smooth and efficient lab processes. Daily Tasks:

• Accurately weighing items for Laboratory staff
• Loading and unloading equipment with precision
• Pouring and packaging materials
• Cleaning and maintaining workbenches for safety and cleanliness
• Completing batch books and keeping records up to date
• Sampling, cutting, and preparing materials using knives
• Manual handling and some heavy lifting of equipment and materials
• Working 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (9am – 2pm or 10am – 3pm)

You will bring to this role:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Independence and teamwork skills
• Prior laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential
