Your Opportunity to Join Our Team
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Weigh Line Operator to join our Processing team in Sorell. In this specialist role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate bird processing, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
If you are self-motivated, can work independently, and have strong attention to detail, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment. Previous experience is preferred but not essential — we provide full on-the-job training!

Daily Tasks
• Operate the Chick Weigh Line to ensure correct birds and bird numbers for each drop
• Accurately record day-to-day processing operations and performance data
• Make informed decisions about product quality and consult with technical teams as needed
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement projects
• Follow work instructions and ensure equipment is ready for start-up
• Assist with equipment maintenance and prepare for production changes
