We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Team Leader to join our Protein Conversion Plant in Wingfield. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership position, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to manage priorities, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and foster a safety-focused work environment will be key to your success.

Daily Tasks
• Lead and support the maintenance across PCP to ensure plant equipment is running efficiently
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
• Plan and oversee maintenance schedules and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory
• Assist with plant upgrades and new equipment installations
• Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
You Will Bring to This Role
• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, or a related field
• Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Experience with rendering equipment and processes (preferred)
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and efficiency
