In this role, you will be supporting our business by ensuring the receiving of goods, sorting, checking stock against delivery dockets, distribution and recording of goods, ingredients, materials as well as loading and unloading materials. Ensure and manage stock control levels, for sustainable operations  

Typically the working hours will be Dayshift on an 8-hour shift between 5am till 1pm, Monday to Friday. However some flexibility to be available to work an Afternoon shift from 1pm to 9.06pm is required. You will be able to enjoy some flexibility in your work hours while having the security of a full-time role at a stable company.

Daily Tasks:

• Receiving, sorting, checking stock against delivery dockets, distribution and recording of goods, ingredients, materials 
• Loading and unloading of raw material 
• Responsible for managing all functions of stock, spares and equipment  
• Label and manage stock control levels, for sustainable operations  
• Maintaining an effective, Optimal and Safe Stores Management System and Organisation 
• Receive, Store, Issue and Record the traceability of all Raw Materials, Fluids, Equipment, Spares, Tools, PPE, Consumables, and Client provided Materials on Ingham’s Site  
• Good organisation skills in storing stock and material in a clean, organised and safe manner 
• Keeping yard and working areas clean, tidy and safe and maintaining a high level of housekeeping 
• Weekly stocktakes 
• Control and manage any incorrect or damaged goods 
• Safely pack and wrap shipments as required 
• Follow quality procedures, and processes through instruction and monitoring 
• Liaise with Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance 
• Identify any hazards that may impact quality or food safety concerns 
• Initiate corrective action if results have not met the standards  
• Liaise with Suppliers/ Transport Companies/ Couriers as required 

You will bring to this role:

• Forklift Licence plus sound Forklift operation experience  
• Excellent attention to detail 
• An ability to work in a logical and structured manner, excellent record-keeping, and a disciplined approach to data management and filing   
• Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse Environment  
• Proven decision-making skills    
• Ability to take the initiative and demonstrate Commitment and Ownership to the Stores Domain  
• Committed and dedicated to Assigned Activities by the Company  
• Understanding of MS Office is advantageous 
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong communication with the ability to think outside the box 
• Experience from Poultry or food manufacturing facility or FMCG industry is advantageous 
• Time Management and ability to meet strict deadlines 
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
