Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team

We are looking for an Despatch Clerks to join our Prestons Distribution Centre during night shifts (usually 21.00 PM start). This role plays a key part in supporting our operations by ensuring accurate data entry, document processing, and administrative coordination to keep our supply chain running smoothly. If you have great attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Daily Tasks

  • Data entry and processing of orders, invoices, and reports 
  • Preparing driver paperwork and monitoring driver arrival times against DC schedule
  • Managing and creating pallet documentation
  • Ensuring all customer orders are picked and completed to meet customer delivery timeslots
  • Creating order mapping plan and store equipment registers updated
  • Dock office window coverage for drivers onsite
  • Assisting with stock reconciliation and inventory tracking 
  • Managing inbound and outbound documentation for deliveries 
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers 
  • Answering phones and responding to general admin queries 
  • Assisting with general office duties as required 

You will bring to this role

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry 
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment 
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • A proactive and organised approach to work 
  • Prior administration or clerical experience (advantageous but not essential)
