Our Edinburgh Parks facility serves as a cornerstone of commitment, boasting state-of-the-art processing capabilities and a dedicated team focused on excellence in safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

As the Production Supervisor on AM Shift, you will ensure smooth, safe and efficient production processes, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.  This is a hands-on leadership position, where you’ll guide and support your team to achieve production targets, meet safety and quality standards, and continuously improve processes. 

AM Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm with rotating weekend’s.

Responsibilities include

  • Supervise and lead a team to meet production goals
  • Ensure compliance is met across safety and food safety standards
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary
  • Provide hands-on support to the team, fostering collaboration and productivity
  • Oversee training and development to build team capability
  • Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency targets
  • Report on production outcomes and escalate issues as required

You will bring to this role

  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in food production or meat processing is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Computer literacy and experience with production systems are advantageous
  • Superior leadership skills, able to build rapport quickly and effectively to create a highly collaborative working environment
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives including knowledge of 5S, Total Productive Manufacturing, LEAN/Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment
