Job Description
Stores Maintenance Controller
The maintenance stores controller manages all functions of the maintenance store- controlling and sustaining stock levels using Maximo software. This is a hands-on role at the heart of Bolivar site operations. This is a full-time position with hours of work spanning Monday to Friday, 38 hour per week roster.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Receive, store, issue and record all maintenance materials, spares and consumables on Bolivar site
Maintain an effective, optimal and safe stores management system
Control stock levels to support sustainable site operations
Liaise daily with Purchasing for all PO transactions and delivery receipting
Receipt and reconcile stock against delivery notes and purchase orders
Maintain bin locations and correct storage of receipted stock
Conduct regular cycle counts and bi-annual stocktakes to eliminate discrepancies
Manage and track material movement in and out of the store
Skills required
The ability to prioritise tasks and work under minimal supervision
Experience with inventory management systems in a manufacturing environment
Intermediate computer skills (in particular using Excel, Coupa & Maximo)
Working knowledge of CMMS systems; Maximo experience is highly regarded.
Mechanical and electrical parts aptitude — ability to identify components across trades
Strong communication skills for working with trades, supervisors and external suppliers
Logical, structured approach with excellent record-keeping discipline
Initiative and ownership mindset — someone who takes pride in their domain
