This role would be based predominantly on PM shift (3pm – 11pm) with some flexibility required to cover AM or night shift occasionally as required. Some Saturday work would be required also.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like experience within the Food Science field, or who has previous experience in a similar position and would like to continue to expand their knowledge.

This is also a really good opportunity for recent graduates in Food Science or related fields.

Daily Tasks 

• Verifying that products are manufactured according to quality specifications
• Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues
• Completing routine testing and assessments such as oil analysis, finished product cook-up assessments, allergen testing and cleaning chemical testing
• Escalating and investigating incidents of foreign object during processing
• Data collection and entry
• Following site safety rules; identifying hazards and risk and escalate as needed
• Assisting the site Quality Team where required

You will bring to this role 

• Proven ability to work effectively within in a team environment
• Being self-accountable for achieving expected outcomes
• Strong attention to detail, and information processing skills
• Formal tertiary qualifications are desirable but not mandatory for applications
