Based at Inghams' primary processing facility in Somerville, We are currently seeking experienced Boners to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of Australia's most iconic food manufacturers and build a career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
As a Process Worker, you will play a hands-on role in our day-to-day production operations, helping ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be involved in various tasks across the processing floor.

Daily Tasks
- Deboning chicken carcasses with accuracy and efficiency
- Process and inspect raw materials safely and according to quality specifications
- Perform processing tasks efficiently and work to meet individual and group targets
- Complete manual handling duties including lift, pull, push, bend and reach
- Follow safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
- Clean and maintain a clean workspace
- Work with raw meat products in a cold environment
- Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools
You will bring to this role
- Previous boning experience is essential — knife skills and knowledge of chicken anatomy required
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
- A good level of fitness is required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
